The Greenwood Magnetic Plate Type Elefant is designed for fitting into inclined chutes. Manufactured with a 3 mm thick stainless steel angle frame means that the construction is robust, allowing rigorous handling. It also allows the angle frame to be drilled for fitting purposes.

Manufactured with powerful Rare Earth magnets, the magnetic plate is completely stainless steel encased. Options include slim (28mm thick) lightweight version (SRRE) 5000-7000 gauss on the contact surface or high-intensity version ( 43mm thick ) (DRRE) 8000-10000 gauss on the contact surface.

Plates are usually installed in the base of inclined gravity feed chutes for the extraction of powder or granular materials being processed. It is simply fitted into the cut-out in the base of the chute or hinged from underneath. State which method when ordering.

We also offer the Rare Earth Magnetic Plate in an easy clean version.

As the magnetic plate is opened for cleaning, the easy clean stainless steel “cover” plate splits away from the main rear magnetic plate. The easy clean cover plate requires a simple locking mechanism so that it can only open to a certain extent. We will fit this if we manufacture the magnet chute, otherwise, this must be fitted to the existing chute on site. As the main magnetic plate is pulled away, the ferrous metal contamination drops automatically away from the plate outside the process. This makes cleaning far easier for the operative, less dangerous and saves downtime. It is manufactured up to a magnetic strength of 7000 gauss on the contact surface.
