High-Intensity Rare Earth Flo-mag for a pharmaceutical application.

Recently, a client in the pharmaceutical sector contacted us regarding a magnetic separator they had sourced from another company. They had been using the unit but were unhappy with its performance and functionality.

They had a very particular specification for use in a ‘clean’ environment:

• – Genuine 12000 Gauss magnetic strength on the contact surface
• – Easy removal and access for wash-down and internal cleaning
• – Quick-release fittings with removable seals to FDA standards 
• – Adjustable feet for levelling
• – A high-polish finish free of any cracks/crevices
• – Maximum 16kg overall weight

All Greenwood magnets are bespoke, specifically designed to customer needs. Having approved the design, we manufactured and delivered a ‘Flo-mag’ to their specification.

Naturally, the finished unit delivers a true  magnetic strength of 12000 Gauss on contact surfaces.

The Flo-mag’s sealed removable drawer incorporates an offset double row of high intensity rare earth magnetic tubes to meet the need for removable FDA approved seals.
