You are likely to be familiar with their work, but here’s a reminder of the scope of all 3 of our nominated charities:
Cancer Research UK fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. They also provide cancer information to the public.
The charity has a vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s UK corporate charity.
It is the vision of the charity that every child in the UK has a childhood which is:
Macmillan’s ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same.
Macmillan’s research helps to understand the needs, numbers and experiences of people affected by cancer, to develop and influence better care and services.
