Pressurised Pipeline Magnet

Description: The Greenwood Pressurised Pipeline Magnet is similar to the standard Pipeline Magnet (see pipeline magnet) but manufactured to pressure vessel standards. High intensity rare earth magnetic tubes (up to 11,500 gauss) filter unwanted ferrous and semi -ferrous metal contamination from the liquid or gas stream present in the line. Specifically designed and manufactured to meet the customer’s strict design standards, the product will be supplied in full accordance with the European directive applicable to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED) for the applicable PED conformance level and fluid applications as specified by the customer.

The outer housing can be fabricated in all materials and high alloys, working to CE PED, 5500 Category 1, 11, 111 ASME U stamped, Ispel, AD-Merkblatter and other recognised codes.

The Pipeline Magnet above was manufactured to PED Category 2, Gas Group 1. Supplied to a world leader in the gas and oil industry, this was manufactured with 150lb ANSI flanges for a 3” NB line pressure rated to 10 bar for propionaldehyde gas with a design temperature of +135 / -10 Deg C, PED fluid group 1 operating in a chemical plant environment.
